Animal Crossing Book Tag [ORIGINAL] | Book Tag Sunday

AC Book Tag

Hello bookish friends! Welcome back to another Book Tag Sunday, and I’m very excited for this week’s tag, because I made it! That’s right, after nearly three years of blogging, I finally got around to creating my own original book tag! I’m so happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy it as well!

So, this is the Animal Crossing Book Tag, and I decided to go with AC because I’ve been a fan of the games ever since I was a kid. You can catch me most days chilling in my little New Leaf town, which I adore.

THE RULES

  • Please link back to the original creator of the tag, Bookish Things and Tea.
  • Answer the following Animal Crossing themed book questions.
  • Feel free to use my graphics, but please don’t take credit for them.
  • Tag some friends to spread the love!

Pretty simple, yeah? Anyways, let’s get into the tag!

3 Days 3 Quotes- Day 2 | Book Tag Sunday

Book tag sunday 2

Hello all! Welcome back to another edition of Book Tag Sunday, along with another “day” (and by this I mean week) of the 3 days, 3 quotes tag. This week, I’ve chosen a bit of a long quote, but I love it nonetheless.

I’ve also seemed to develop a habit of picking quotes from books that talk about books and/or bookworms. AKA the best kind of quotes. If you’re curious, you can check out last week’s quote here.

Without further procrastination, let’s get onto the quote! Drum roll please… Continue reading

The Sims Book Tag | Book Tag Sunday

Book Tag- Sims

Hello all, and welcome to a new feature on my blog! It’s Book Tag Sunday, because I miss doing book tags so much. I also wanted a certain day to do tags, so here we go. Recently, I haven’t been blogging (partly due because I was on vacation in New York) or reading. Not going to lie, it’s mostly because I got obsessed with playing Sims 4 again. So, obviously I have to do the Sims Book Tag!

The tag was created by Hails Hearts Nyc on YouTube, and I’m hecka pumped to get this tag rolling. Continue reading

Fictional (Who Should Be Real) Boyfriends | Book Tag

fictional-boyfriend

Hello all! Since I happen to be a sappy, hopeless romantic book nerd, I was very happy when the lovely Fadwa over at Word Wonders (who’s blog is one of my favorites, go say hi!) tagged me in the fictional boyfriend tag! I thought I had done this tag before, but it turns out I haven’t (although there have been similar ones). However, my collection list of fictional boyfriends is always changing!

1. MOST ROMANTIC BOYFRIEND

While Fadwa’s answer of Jem Carstairs is perfect, I think I’m going to have to go with Maxon Schreave. He is such a sweetheart who doesn’t deserve a little brat like America, and he sure is romantic.

Fun fact, I can finally type out that stupid last name without Googling it because I’ve typed it enough now! Continue reading

The Book Blogger Insider | Book Tag

book-blogger-insider

Hey all! Long time no chat (not really, but you get it). Sorry for not posting much at all last week, all that went up was my Crooked Kingdom review. I had a very long seven days last week, and to be quite frank… ran out of time free time to blog. Simply because, whenever I had free time I was napping (school life, am I right).

However, that is not the point of this post. The lovely Kate from The Nerdy Novelty tagged me in the super cute Book Blogger Insider tag created by Jamie @ A Little Slice of Jamie! I also highly recommend you go over and check out Kate’s blog because it is so adorable, and she has only been blogging for a little over month (but is doing so well).

THE RULES

  • Answer the questions
  • Credit the creator
  • Tag 5 people
  • Have fun!

My Harry Potter Life | Book Tag

My Harry Potter Life

Have you ever wondered what your life would be like at Hogwarts? Well, Michelle over at The Writing Hufflepuff has created a new tag where you can find that out. If you’ve seen/done the My Life In Books tag, it’s like that but Harry Potter edition! It’s also fantastic timing as I’m two books through my 2016 Harry Potter reread.

HOW IT WORKS

Pick four books to predict your future and follow the instructions for each question.

MY FOUR BOOKS

  1. Winter
  2. The Wrath & The Dawn
  3. Lady Midnight
  4. Six of Crows

1. YOUR WAND- Open book 1 to a random page. The first noun you see will be what your wand is made of.

Mud. Well, that’s a fantastic wand, if I do say so. I hope that the mud doesn’t replace the wood, because that would be unfortunate.

2. YOUR PET- Does book 2 have animals? One of those animals will now be your pet. If the book doesn’t have any animals, then I’m sorry but your pet-less.

Does TW&TD have any animals in it? I don’t believe it does, so that’s sad for me. I guess I’m not getting any mail while at school!

3. YOUR HOGWARTS HOUSE- Open book 3 at a random page. Whatever House you’d think the character’s name you first see belongs to, is your House (woah that’s a weird sentence, hope that made sense).

Mark Blackthorn was the first name I say, and my first instinct for what house he would be in is Slytherin! I’ve got no clue why my mind immediately jumped to Slytherin, but I suppose that’s where I am now. Sadly, this isn’t my original house but I can make it work.

4. MAKE YOUR GOLDEN TRIO COMPLETE- Open book 4 at a random page. The first two names will be your best friends and complete your squad. If there’s only one name at said page, open another random page.

Oh my goodness, Jesper and Kaz. We’d get in more trouble than the OG Golden Trio! I’m a fan of this group, for sure.

5. YOUR HEAD OF HOUSE- Open book 1 at a random page. The first name you’ll see will be your Head of House.

Well, Cinder is now the Head of Slytherin House. I feel like Cinder would be a pretty fair Head of House, and not pick on another house (*cough* SNAPE *cough*).

6. YOUR ‘DRACO MALFOY’- Naturally you’ll need your arch nemesis/school rival. Open book 2 at a random page, the first name you’ll see will be your enemy.

Shahrzad, no! What did I do to deserve this! If Shahrzad is my enemy (currently so sad), and she knew magic, I’d so be a goner.

7. YOUR PATRONUS- Open book 3 at a random page. The first living creature you’ll see will be your Patronus.

Guess what everyone! Julian Blackthorn is my Patronus! Oh my goodness, that’s hilarious. Imagine a silver shadowy Julian fighting off a Dementor with a paintbrush. If only I got Church…

8. WILL YOU WIN THE HOUSE CUP?- How many pages does book 4 have? That’s how many points you’ll House have at the end of the school year. If the book has more than 400 pages it will have won the Cup, congrats!

462 pages, the House Cup is mine! Totally reminds me (this is a bit random) but at the end of Chamber of Secrets, Dumbledore literally gives both Ron and Harry 200 points each. Dumbledore rigs the freaking House Cup every year.

So, while at Hogwarts my squad and I (Jesper and Kaz) go around winning the House Cup for Slytherin. Of course, as Head of the House, Cinder is very proud and teaches us all how to cast a patronus charm, and my patronus takes the form of Julian Blackthorn. Meanwhile, Shahrzad, my arch nemesis at school likes to make fun of my mud wand, and the fact that I have no animal at Hogwarts.

How I Read | Book Tag

how i read tag

I was tagged nearly a year ago by Anette @ Anette Reads to do the How I Read book tag, and I’m finally getting around to doing it! It’s been sitting in my favorite tabs since last October, so let’s get started.

HOW DO YOU FIND OUT ABOUT NEW BOOKS TO READ?

90% of the books I read come from reading other book blogs, and seeing what others are enjoying. Some of them come from Booktube, Goodreads, or impulse buys at Barnes & Noble, but a lot come you all! Continue reading

The Makeup Tag | Book Tag

makeup book tag

Wow, I haven’t done a tag in forever! So I was so happy when Amanda over at My Books Opinion tagged me to do the book makeup tag! Not only do I love books, but I might also be a bit of a makeup addict… so this is perfect.

PRIMER- Pick a book that left a lasting impression on you

between shades of grayDefinitely Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys. I still think about this book all the time and I’ve been wanting to read it again recently. Continue reading
