MEET THE BLOGGER
So you’ve stumbled upon my crazy blog. I’m McKenzie (that’s me over there to the left!) and I’m the blogger behind the books! On your journey through this blog you’ll find many book reviews, tags, memes, TV show rambling, and other bookish things.
I’m a huge YA reader and advocate, in fact, it’s pretty much all I read. But inside that umbrella, I absolutely love a good fantasy, historical fiction, paranormal, and cheesy contemporary novels. Some of my favorite authors include Sarah J. Maas, Cassandra Clare, Cinda Williams Chima, Ryan Graudin, J. K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Leigh Bardugo, Tahereh Mafi, Alexandra Bracken, Marissa Meyer, and Alison Goodman.
Besides reading, I spend the majority of my time in school, procrastinating on writing blog posts, watching TV shows, and in band class/playing music. If you’re curious, I’m currently a senior in high school, and also in my second year of community college. Yes, I do both at the same time through a program in my high school! However, next fall I will be attending four year university where I’ll be studying chemistry and pre-optometry.
Welcome, stay a little while and read some fun reviews why don’t you? And don’t forget to say hi!
I’ve never checked out your About page before, and I just wanted to say — OMG YOU’RE SO CUTE. XD And YAS to RR, JKR, Marissa Meyer, and Leigh Bardugo. (Whose name is apparently pronounced “Lee” — I did not know this??? XD ).

Aww thank you! Her name is pronounced like Lee! I think it’s actually such a cute name, especially the way it’s spelled. I may have to update this page because RR may be slipping off this list…

You’re welcome! And I know! It’s super pretty, but has been tricking me all this time. XD And aww! RR is the author of my “childhood” series, so I don’t think he could ever slip off my list. 😛

Oh I adore RR’s Percy Jackson series, and I think it will always be one of my favorites, it’s just his latest books. I actually DNFed The Hidden Oracle, which was so surprising for me. I never thought I would DNF an Uncle Rick book 😥

Oh, I loved The Hidden Oracle! What I didn’t like was The Sword of Summer, but The Hammer of Thor was much better. But I do agree that his old books were much beter.

I couldn’t stand Apollo, that’s why I wasn’t the biggest fan. I did actually read all of The Sword of Summer and enjoyed it enough, but after Hidden Oracle, I didn’t even bother to pick up Hammer of Thor. Glad to hear it was a bit better though!

Yeah, the Hammer of Thor was awesome! He introduced Alex, who is super cool. XD
